I am considering buying a used Bateman sprayer from UK. Besides the phitosanitary certificate, what other formalities are required? Will i be paying VAT or not (i didn't have to pay it before brexit)?

P.S Anybody selling a good RB25 or 26 24m?

That’s all the fella who bought our old zetor to take to Poland wanted so from what you need when buying the machine I think that’s it. What you may need as an exporter I’m not sure, probably need to make a nova declaration at customs when it goes out the U.K. and might need a invoice for purchase

You'll have to pay VAT on the import into Romania and any local tariffs due. Will be sold to you ex VAT and must be exported out of the Uk within 60-90 days ( I am not sure which ) you might be better engaging an agent as a lot of rules have changed even since the 1st of Jan 2022. If it's from a dealer they will be able to arrange I would have thought.

What if I wanted to sell a machine to an EU buyer? What paperwork do I need? I do not want to get involved in cleaning or any paperwork. Can I just sell ex my yard as it stands and the purchaser sort it all out himself? Do I need some sort of proof of intent to export so i can zero rate it for vat? Any help gratefully received.
