Extending Sprayer Boom

Taken over contract farming on neighbouring farm but it has some winter sown crop at 24m tramlines while my sprayer is 21m.

Would it be possible to extend(cheaply as only 70 acres) the pipe work 1.5m on each end?
If so what would I all need to be able to do this and where could I get it all from?

Just made my own tramlines for T0 and crop has recovered but could get a bit messy if I go through crop another 3 times making my own tramlines.

Yes. You could clamp the relevant length of box section to the end of the boom and then for dry boom nozzle holders (connect with hose as
Opposed to spraybar) you can connect to the end of you your existing boom with cam lever for speed of fitting and removal .
Cheap, effective and simple

It very much depends on the make of sprayer and the folding.
Adding 1.5 meters of a temporary bar to carry an extra 3 nozzles should not be too great a strain for most farm mechanics. The plumbing should be little issue too.
Just be careful turning at the ends as the whip when the booms turn may encourage the end to break back very easily.

On a side note. We can quote you on what you'll need if you opt for the way I suggested.

2 more passes? Contractor might be cheapest option

Big thanks to @SimpersTradeCounter for his advice and the parts required which came yesterday.

Certainly works out cheaper than contractor @Banana Bar. Parts delivered were £81.
Asked Agrii how much to get one of their machines in to do it and told £5/acre. Got T1,2 and 3 to do on these 70 acres so pretty much £1000 saved by going down Simpers route. Probably do pre-harvest roundup on it too.

Bit of faffing about putting it on and of and equalising pressures but will only be used this year so cheap solution and got 6 spare caps and Guardian air nozzles for inevitable future mishaps;)
