Humidity will be key, today so much more pleasant than yesterday as not only a bit cooler but fresher and a breeze too, dry heat not humid.Could this heat that is forecast this weekend have serious issues for cattle.planning to give the cows excess to housing and feed 24 /7
35 in MidlandsLooks like we'll peak at 23 degrees on Tuesday next week. What are you lot down south expecting?
I think I would be buying a big fan or two. Ordered one for indoors while they are still in stock.Could this heat that is forecast this weekend have serious issues for cattle.planning to give the cows excess to housing and feed 24 /7
Could count on one hand the number of days this summer we have scraped over 20.
Looking like mid twenties for a couple of days over the weekend.
It’s going to be cold and wet!Back to 17/18 from Wednesday onwards. Not much sunshine so far either.
Its going to be like Jim Smiths video, "its so hot"It’s forecast for 33 degrees here on Tuesday, which is interesting as the highest recorded temperature in Scotland is 32 degrees (at Greycrook, St Boswells, 2003).
In hot weather, cattle always seek out those parts of the fields that get the most breeze, and not necessarily the most shaded. You think it’ll be cooler for them in a paddock with some shade than crammed in the cow shed?
I've been looking at those elecriq units, how easy/ difficult to fit? For someone used to working with pipes, copper, fittings etc. I understand they are ready flared compression fittings. ThanksView attachment 1049195
We’ve gone mad and I’m trying to get air con fitted to keep the dog kennels cool
