Anyone watching itv4 on a Monday evening where boats are recovered in Australia with the assistance of a very large ex USA military truck?
I think I did catch a bit. production Company seem more interested in the young blonde ladies in short shorts than the winching truck 🤔

did make me laugh when the chap gave one of the girls a big lecture on how dangerous the wire is under tension, how it can snap without notice, and how it’ll cut someone in half.......he then spent the next 10mins leaning over, swinging on and touching said rope......until it snapped 🤣

I saw that one. Driving that truck flat chat across the beach to pull a boat out of the Mangroves where the hurricane had dumped it..... until....the truck sunk, then the swing shovel sunk.

Them boys!

Last week the mrs made me have a few hours off in afternoon as recovering from covid. Search about for something to watch on catch up I came across Extreme Salvage Squad. Looked moderately entertaining and involved heavy machinery and a couple of blonds - two must haves for Australian tele 😁 Now spanking ‘Christopher’ across that beach/mud flats was ever only going to end one way! Not sure why they didn’t back up round the edge of the Mangroves as it turned out they were allowed to trim them back to recover the boat - but that would not have been as entertaining. Good job they had another excavator not so far away as the tide would come in at some point.

Anyway it’s worth a watch - better than most of the sh!te the bbc put on 👍
