Looks like one of my pet lambs has got orf, took me by surprise to be honest saw it this morning and just had a little spot of blood so put some iodine on it.

Came back tonight to feed them and it seems to have got out of control very quickly. ☹️

Been using weak dettol / water solution for orf and other cuts, help after maggots etc.
Apparently canasten comby works for orf and ring worm.

Used to take one of those black orfode pills on old boys advice, never got orf, 1 year got it really bad, went to doctors and took pills and purple spray that had been using, gave doc good laugh, he said dettol or thrush cream or sudo cream.

Knew a lad who got orf up his nose, good job it was only place he stuck his finger.

Get salt licks in the fields, it helps stop them getting it bad and transferring to the udder. Just put some out here, lambs already licking them. Had it last year on my hand, a very large blister. Blue spray 😍

I want you to write this into a joke for the Blackie breeders 😂😂

Just keep me/my name out of it 🤣
I had orf on my stomach a couple of years ago, if it had been 6 inch lower then it would have been a hard conversation with the mrs. 😮😄
My poor pet lamb is ailing,
With an ulcer on its nose,
I thought it was my failing,
So blue spray - it got a dose.

The spray does tend to linger,
When your aim is not the best,
I got some on my finger,
Then some spread onto my chest.

It moved down to my stomach,
Where will it be next week?
I was completely flummoxed,
And scared to take a leak.

Then just as I had feared,
Right on the very end,
An ulcer soon appeared,
That no cream would ever mend.

I tried to hide it from my wife,
When I went for a shower,
She'd never seen such in her life,
As it spread like a flower.

What's that thing growing at the tip?
What are you going to do?
I've got a sore bit on my lip,
I hope it's not from you.

Oh no I said, it's from my pet,
They gave me such a kiss,
Oh did they now, then I can bet,
That you can take the p**s.

So if an ulcer looks so bright,
Just tell her it was Jackie,
And everything will be alright,
As she's my favourite Blackie.

Not a f**k up as such, but scanner said there were 3 sets of triples in this year's draft Shetlands. This is the 13th set to lamb and we've another 2+weeks to go 🤦🏻‍♂️
