Feck me, you’ve got more grass on that hill than I have down here on the flat.
Haha that's because there are only 6 ewes left on it, they get ferried along to the other farm for the summer and the cows will be on there in a fortnightFeck me, you’ve got more grass on that hill than I have down here on the flat.
I always give every ewe a stripe of crovect on the tail and one aimed at the udder when I am dagging to try and save maggot strike and flies at uddersHad two badly struck yesterday, one lamb with some old netting wrapped around its leg (has had to come in) a ewe with a blown bag (her two in on creep) a dead ewe and 4 with maggots on their tails in a bunch i trimmed out.
Had enough of it by last night!!
Exactly what I thought....and it's green!Feck me, you’ve got more grass on that hill than I have down here on the flat.
I am actually running a wee experiment here to see who doesn't like my post and picture because it is of an Easycare with a nice pair of lambs that lambed itself.... I have noticed on various threads that certain people only comment on shredders when they have something negative to say and never entertain anything about them that doesn't fit the narrative of their breed being better and shredders being shite haha.....
In fairness we have had a lot of rain up here in the past 3 weeks and the grass has just exploded.Exactly what I thought....and it's green!
If they are by a Suffolk why have they not got black faces?I am actually running a wee experiment here to see who doesn't like my post and picture because it is of an Easycare with a nice pair of lambs that lambed itself.... ..... don't disappoint me 'usual suspects'
They are out of NZ Suffolk and that's how they throw them, some black faces, some brown speckled faces and some white. Ask @easyram1 if you need conformation of the tups I use and if this is normal. If they are by a Suffolk why have they not got black faces?
Also I would like to see pictures of the older lambs out of the easycares please.
Nice to see her staying with her lambs or have you got an extremely good zoom lens?I am actually running a wee experiment here to see who doesn't like my post and picture because it is of an Easycare with a nice pair of lambs that lambed itself....
