Oh no not another one! An address that takes you to the middle of a housing estate doesn’t inspire confidence and some of the prices don’t look cheap, they look decidedly dodgy. Go and visit the depot if in doubt [you damn well should have doubts] but don’t be surprised if you get every excuse under the sun as to why you can’t and why they want cash with unseen order.

It makes one wonder as to just how many people are robbed by such bogus sites in the UK alone every week. Also just why the victims became victims when, to most people, such scams are fairly if not glaringly obvious and there should be plenty of opportunity to check them out and become suspicious before parting with a single penny.

I know someone who spent some of his pension pot on a Merlo Multi Farmer. I tried to stop him, but he would not listen.

He lost every penny.

You should have explained that Farol are well established and respected, a genuine dealer, but this picture has been photoshopped and used in the scam website’s ‘About Us’ page.

It is obvious that quite a few people cannot put two and two together and, as a consequence, are easily robbed of their hard earned money and so things like this must therefore be explained quite clearly.

No dealer today has a no-visitor-no-viewing policy as these scammers claim. I doubt whether any genuine dealer ever had such a policy but even this does not deter the gullible.
