Just a wee note to add to this before it becomes a (Probably warranted) RSPCA bashing thread......I have had about half a dozen police and local message board cautions about white transits parking on farmland/farm tracks with RSPCA Logos on, where dog walkers frequent/or where its remote enough to find solo walkers. The occupants wait for a dog walker & approach them, saying that their dog matches the description of one that has been recently stolen, and that the require the dog to be brought to the van to have the chip read/dog inspected. At which point, they bundle the dog into the van, and bugger off. Dog are currently worth an awful lot, due to COVID, and also for training fighting dogs. There is currently a man in a Somerset ICU, as a result of a daylight burglary of 4 mini dog puppy things and the bitch, from the owner's back garden. Apparently the husband and wife noticed some blokes breaking in to the garden, accosted them & he duly got hospitalized.......

The RSPCA have no statutory rights of access only the police and trading standards have rights to come on to land/property to 'inspect'. Public footpaths only give people the right of pass and repass.
Incidentally the worst case of animal handling I have ever seen was by an RSPCA employee trying to deal with an injured bird of prey I had taken to their centre.

This is because to join the rspca as an inspector you don’t need any real experience it understanding of animals, animal handling, nature, biology ..... the list goes on. The only qualification is being a massive C**T. Anyone who wants to become an rspca inspector must have issues. I’ve never met one id pee on if I found them alight. Did I mention I hate the rspca ?

Anyone who gives up their dog to an ArsePCA worker is an idiot. When Cancer Care can kick in your door and nick your fags the Arses will have power over you too. Till then, anytime, anywhere tell them to fox off and come back with a policeman.

I read today that nobody should give pups away as they are likely to end up as bait dogs.

Look, I would never recommend anyone did anything nefarious but the only defence against these sorts of people is to appear to be borderline psychotic and one of those not-really-worried-about-the-law types.

Act weird, shout and look 'dodgy'. Take lessons from an acquaintance- everyone has one, I bet even Clive knows someone like this.

Unidentified vehicles- put a screw under their tyre.

No, they will film you.

Unidentified vehicles on your land? Deflate tyres using the willow twig or matchstick method, then call out plod.

the RSPCA have no right of entry, to any premises, without either being accompanied by a police officer, or with landowners permission, they can 'observe' from public foot paths. They will try to deny that, but they do know.
So does that mean the police can bring the rspca onto your property against your wishes?
It’s not as if they’re qualified professionals of any description, I could see the point of bringing a vet

Where was the photo an who was punting the photo about?? To train a dog to fight I don’t think they throw poodles at them Willy nilly, more likely to feck them than fight them!! 🙈
It was on Facebook, not arguing about the merits of it, just saying what I read and what I saw on the photo.

Paws and claws pets rehome or similar on Facebook. I don't know how to put it on here and not even too bothered, just saying what I saw rather than expecting to be doubted.

No, only in specifically named on a warrant, and even in that case you can usually meet them head on with a more suitable professional, let them make the muppet look daft, while you talk to the coppers or more likely they stand outside looking a bit awkward while you argue with the insipid c*ck w*mble 'inspector'.
