Hi dry rot.
At my age, that’s the only stalking I’m interested in !!!

You've obvious;ly not been following the lynx survey thread! The title of this thread reminded me of one of the main contributors and I was hoping there might be some stalking on offer!!:love:

The first deer I ever shot was a fallow.

I’m based in Northumberland I am tendering on three blocks soon.
It would be roe only. I will bear you in mind if you want.

Thanks, but my stalking days are over. I controlled deer on my neighbour's 600 acres of young forestry, but as I told him at my time of life it is a chore, not a pleasure. However, we did a deal. I'd gamekeep, control the deer and foxes, and even put down a few birds for his family days in return for being allowed to catch a dozen or so pheasants with my goshawk and dogs. A few years living the dream!:)
