Fan speed control on JD 6230 premium

Fan Speed control on our John Deere 6230 playing up at moment goes sometimes then not at all !
It's variable speed ,sometimes at full speed is only running the fan at half speed anyone else had similar.
Thinking the control potentiometer or loose connection and how do I get to it?

Now Then...
It's probably your potentiometer (fan speed dial) as you say. The control unit just pops out of the roof console. You can try a repair, or just get a new control unit from your dealer..
See if can navigate to ATC/ETC 005 in the Command Center, that will show the commanded speed for the fans.
As a note, the fans themselves sometimes fail. That just results in no fan speed at all..

Had a look today went on command centre as you suggested all seems well with controller output working as it should so seat out to check fans looking like that is the problem both will run if flicked with finger to encourage them to start
