Fancy getting involved in some calf welfare research?

Hi all,

My name is Abbie and I'm a farm vet and PhD candidate at the University of Nottingham. My project is all about better understanding dairy farmer decision-making behaviours for improved calf welfare.

I would like to invite you all to participate in my first study which is investigating expert opinions on calf management practices within UK dairy farms. We want to know which practices currently used to rear calves have the biggest impact on their welfare.

Fancy taking part? That's great. It doesn't matter if you're a beef farmer, a dairy farmer, or a calf rearer. As long as you rear at least 30 calves per year and are located in the UK you can give it a go!

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes and can be accessed via the following link: https://calfmanagementsurveyfarmers.sawtoothsoftware.com/login.html

I've attached an information sheet should you wish to know more about why the study is being conducted and what it will involve.

Thank you all for your help :)

Abbie
