Farm advice, consultancy and management online

I would like to gather people's thoughts on the idea of providing a consultancy/ management service to farmers almost entirely online.

This could potentially offer farmers a cheaper option compared to having a consultant out on farm, but would require a little more time I put from the farmer on the ground to provide the observations.

My initial thoughts were around providing ration formulations, grazing plans and fertiliser application plans but could include basic day to day office management tasks.

Do people think this might have any appeal? All thoughts welcome...

I think it would appeal, but probably be expected for nothing. Or very little remuneration to you. It's why so.many questions get asked.on.a forum. It's free.

Sort of true, but no-one on a forum will do your whole farm nitrogen records for you, or ALL your health and safety risk assessments.

Obviously some things can't be done remotely, but many things could.

I would say the op's suggestion is a perfectly sound idea. Go for it.
