The amount of robberies on yards ,tools, generators, compressors stolen, field hay racks, electric fencing ,suv's etc etc taken around here this last week is crazy?
All shared on local farm watch etc etc.
What the hell Police are doing is debatable?

Epidemic proportions here. A15 farms and businesses targeted this week. My spray distributor amongst them. Big knock on costs for us all with down time to repair premises etc. Not acceptable. We know who is doing it but they seem to be untouchable. My mates cattle trailer seen on the road behind one of their transits with his name still on it apparently. Police do nothing.

I witnessed a BMW being stolen from a neighbouring farm a couple of weeks ago. The scrote who did it was caught the following day after a Facebook appeal and the car was found. He’s only 14 and already has a string of convictions and been locked up for a year in a youth offenders institution and been tagged.

The irony being that anyone caught dealing out justice to these pansies gets a conviction for "taking the law in to their own hands".
- But if the police aren't 'policing' or attending incidents then those supposed to be enforcing 'the law' are guilty of serious 'dereliction of duty'.
Try seeking a conviction for negligent politicians and Chief Constables for failing to protect victims of crime, and you'll be laughed at by the duty sergeant.
Conversely if anyone were to suggest digging a deep hole and 'sending out a clear message' then the entire force would be round soon enough.

Long and the short of it, we need to remind our elected officials and high ranking police officers that they're not there just for the chauffeur driven car and generous pension, they need to do their jobs properly. Not easy when they are protected by the arrogance of high office.

There is no doubt in my mind that there are law breakers are on both sides of the counter, so to speak, and it is getting more common. Certain sections of society definitely get special treatment, and it's not just the tinks. Witness the police officers who USED to advertise on here for shooting, hinting at special favours in return. That sort of thing really is outrageous and needs to be exposed for what it is -- corruption. Public servants are in positions of trust and bound by codes of conduct. It is understandable to some extend when Joe Public exploits a loop hole but certainly not acceptable when people paid out of taxation don't do what they've signed up for and turn a blind eye. There are procedures for complaints and if we don't use them, we only have ourselves to blame.

Well.....came across five coppers in three cars today dealing with a bit of brushwood on the side of the road, hardly causing any obstruction, a couple of miles along the road had a telegraph pole leaning right across a lane hanging by a couple of power cables......no police there....took the easier option I expect, I’m sure just two of them could have dealt with the brushwood.

A person around here was glad when the Police rang to say we got your vehicle come and collect it.
He checked post later and a letter came off Police to say the same BUT a bill for £250 storage fee (only been week or so yet?) Then so much a day thereafter if not collected ,then id ,utility bill etc to bring with him on collection????
What a shock to be illegally robbed to start with then LEGALLY robbed afterwards with these fees ???
Anyone else had these?
Crazy?

That is outrageous! Doesn't he pay council tax?

One the horsey girls (now departed, leaving a rather large bill) left a dozen or so traffic cones used for something horsey. So I took them to the local police station. The desk sergeant said it would be difficult to find the owers. I replied, "Not at all. They've got your name on them" -- and they did, 'Police'. A bit late now, but I should have charged them storage! ?

Greenstar Sf6000 dome, Claydon drill box and Trimble FMX taken here 2:10am Wednesday. Best part of £20k
There is one guy on eBay that seems to have control boxes and gps of all sorts but never see pictures of cables. Posts as a business with address which is a housing estate. I tried contacting the email address no response. I’d be keeping an eye on eBay. But also mark your kit someway as police can only prosecute if they find the owner even if they see somebody with suspect equipment.
