Farm Business Innovation 2014

Hi
I run the national business show specifically for rural entrepreneurs, land owners and diversifying farmers.

This isn’t an agricultural show, but the only business show which is a one-stop shop to pull together all the products, services and experts that any rural business needs to expand, diversify and maximise their revenue streams.

As you can imagine there is a huge amount of opportunities out there, so our visitors come from a wide range of backgrounds, and the sectors from which our exhibitors are drawn include: tourism, food & drink production, farm shops and retail, renewable energy, leisure, holiday & hotel accommodation, event management, niche farming opportunities, outdoor attractions, planning and business advice.

Alongside the exhibitors is a full educational seminar timetable where you can learn from industry experts, as well as leading farming figures that have already successfully made the leap.

Entry for this show, and the seminars is completely free. Register for your tickets here: http://www.thefarmingshow.co.uk/ and receive your show guide in the post so you can start planning your visit.

Sounds good, just started works to convert one of our farm buildings into children's soft play and a farm shop/retail.
Would you need two days?
Cheers

Excellent - good luck with that. We do have play equipment suppliers inc softplay, shop fitters, farm shop EPOS systems and business experts like The National Farm Attraction Network exhibiting at the show.
Tickets are valid for both days, and some people did find they needed both. Depends are how well you plan the visit and how many seminars you want to fit in.

Just booked tickets, looks interesting, been wanting to go to see the poppies in the Tower so will combine the two for a short break(y)

We had a great day there. Came back with loads of ideas and pens. The talks in the little rooms were very good too.
Only trouble was a terrible queue on the M3 home (and the bus driver said it would go on for 2 years!!:( )

Have come away from the show full of ideas, now I've just to try to find the time to do something about them! Although i came down to get re-motivated/new ideas for the soft play that we have had planning for for two years, I have come away buzzing with ideas for self catering cottages, agroforestry and expansion ideas for the soft play to cater for older families! As well as a firmer idea about how to set up a farm shop/cafe. Great couple of days (y)
