So today we noticed a wound on one of the farm cats and upon a closer look it’s a nasty puncture wound. He has the same on the other side as well, giving me the impression that something had grabbed him over his back.

Mum took him to the vets this afternoon and the vet said he’s lucky to be alive. Mum explained to the vet that we have a stray cat hanging around at the moment but he said that the wounds are too big for it to have been caused by another cat. We get a lot of badgers here but the vet was adamant that it wasn’t one as he said they tear when they bite. It definitely wasn’t one of our dogs. I honestly don’t know what could have done this. Any suggestions?

On another note, the missus’s horse hasn’t been letting us catch her today, as if something is spooking her. (Probably being paranoid but I think somethings out there!!!)

Will also point out that the vet said he was pretty sure a fox hadn’t done it either.

Whats proper man flu? A runny nose?

Well I’ve got one of those coughs that you keep trying to subdue and end up straining your throat. The annoying part is I never cough anything up. My nose has that raw fizzy feeling and I must be sneezing, I dunno, 20 times a night........which wakes littleun up........which has toddler flu combined with constipation (no shite since Friday) and a Mrs that is coming down with woman flu and, by my reckoning, a double whammy because of her lunar cycle.......which she has forgotten about and I don’t have the balls to remind her.

I think that covers it :shifty:
