He’s a big lad and used to our dog. Just want a good farm home as fear he’d get run over where we are moving too. You’d have to keep sending pics to our daughter though 😀View attachment 1091305
When we were building our current house we bought a mid terrace house in Hfd in 'prime rental' area . I really struggled ...but I think the neighbours struggled more with me!

We used to have a visiting tabby cat, that sat and watch me working in the back garden and at times even made strange chattering noises to me. I never fed her and didn't fuss with her much. When I put in a small fish pond Tibs signed the concrete with her paws but sadly, one day, poor tibs turned up dead in the gutter out the front of our property.

Living on a main road has cost us two of our own cats, and also Tibs, and a big black Tom that must have just been passing through.

A few years ago our last cat, Tigger, gave cause for a neighbour to accost my wife and ask if we never fed the wee beestie and when Margaret asked as to why she thought that the cat wasn't being fed the lady said that Tigger was always visiting her back door and crying to be fed. And what is it that you feed her, asked Margaret.

The prompt reply was ...... Tinned Salmon! Nuff said I think!
