Fold over the top to remove personal details...? :scratchhead:

although it is 100% anonymous I guess some are just making sure ! This doesn't matter but as Chris says sometimes you lose the name of the supplier and the date as well which is information that is shared with other Farm Compare users

I'm loving this, saved a few hundred £ yesterday on some CCC - I thought the price I had was good but then checked and found one cheaper via a supplier I had never even heard of before ! Thank-you whoever uploaded that price !

Looks like my wallet has been emptied since I last looked. Is this because all my invoices have been manual and thus unverified? Will have to try and embrace technology!

I think you openly get a token for a verified entry

not 100!% on that as ive only ever added verified myself

So i need a quote on every product to see other prices?
Around here, the way to get the best price, is to get a quote on your total expected use for the season. They never wants to specify where the money go. If i ask for this, the total price go up. No matter who i ask.

are you saying you don’t get individual product prices ?

how can you decide which product to use on that basis ? or what your production cost is ?

sounds a LOT like your supplier has something to hide !

what products do you want, sounds very worth comparison of prices to me !

Yes i do. I don't like it.
As you mention, i can't optimize my use, cost-efficient, this way.
All suplliers do it this way. You send them a list of what you need. They give you a quote on the lot. I usually get a quote from 3 or 4 suppliers.
But if i ask for prices on every product on the list, it gets more expensive, or they don't want to bother with it. A few years ago i insisted to get individual pricing, to know what i was doing, but i didn't want to pay 20% extra for this.

We have a database with estimated prices on products, so you can guestimate how much rebate you get, but you have no way of knowing how much you pay for individual products.

I think it's because every supplier only have a few people quoting on this area, and they don't want to bother with too much hassle.

It is also much more expensive to buy products individually. So there really is no way of getting the best price AND know what is going on.

Does that mean you plan ahead and order for several months at a time? How do you know what products you will need until the season/weather arrives?

Yes. When we plan the season, it also include a plan for inuts. I have all what i expect to need from now till harvest in stock. We can swap out products untill middle of june. we usually swap some - and those products we probably pay way too much for, as that is not part of the original quote. We don't pay for any of it before september when we get money for the grain we sell at harvest.
I have tried to just buy what i need when i need it, but it ends up costing more.

Followed link above.
Typed in a common chemical .
Page comes up and blurred details and then message to upgrade?
Is this a Chargeable upgrade?

No its completely free. But to see prices you do need to submit prices. Add a copy of invoices from last year can Lucy will process them and searches will be added to your TFF account. Its quite a easy process. Its only fair if you want to see information to have to add some to the pot yourself.

So, I did wonder if, instead of letting me do the searches, if the powers that be could just do a report at the end of the season to see how the prices I have paid fit?

So if I submit a price for teb, instead of then having to go search for teb, I could just get a "you paid x for teb, the cheapest price was Y".

Year end reporting is something we are looking to build into the system. So yes. But we would do that for all the products you have added in one go.
