Farm Diversity magazine launches to support rural business

A new magazine aimed at farmers and landowners with diversification plans is being launched later this month. Farm Diversity offers news and views from the industry on a range of agricultural topics, and also features the products and services which can help rural businesses make diversity a success.

The magazine will cover:

• renewable energy

• leisure & tourism

• food and drink

• retail

• consultancy

• arable & pastoral diversification

• recruitment & training

• groundworks/landscaping

The magazine is produced by Euromedia Associates Ltd, a publisher of specialist and trade magazines including Caravan Industry & Park Operator and Electrical Trade Magazine, and the company has over 30 years’ experience in the publishing industry.

Farm Diversity editor Victoria Galligan said: “It’s clear that rural diversity is booming at the moment – an NFU survey found recently that one in five farmers are set to diversify. Sixty per cent have already done so, and are looking at ways of renewing and improving their existing diversification businesses.

“We’ve been speaking to people in different parts of the UK and from a wide range of businesses – vineyards, fisheries, glampsites, even alpaca retreats! – and we’ve got some great case studies coming up in the magazine.

"The way farming has changed over recent years means there is a focus on technology, sustainability and productivity so we're focusing on those developments too.

“Farm Diversity is already getting feedback from visitors to the website, which is really positive. People want to see new and up-and-coming diversification trends as well as hear about long-term projects which have really paid off over the years.

“We’re keen for people to contact us with their ideas and the magazine is completely free to subscribe to via our website.”

Subscribe to Farm Diversity free of charge on the subscription page and contact the magazine with your stories at [email protected]. Find Farm Diversity on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
