Farm land neighbour help!!

My neighbour has a outbuilding garage (like a big garden summer house made out of wood) which has been around for 10 years. It backs on to my farms field.

He has one illegal window and one window granted by permission.

He is constantly telling me to cut my bushes, he destroyed my trees on my property, he chucks his rubbish over, if anything overhangs - he cuts it and throws it on my side (even though I told him he should get rid of it himself as I don’t want it). He’s a nuisance. He even chucks his swimming pool water into my land.

He says he as right to view and light. He has windows in the front as well and the side. It is literally a plywood garage inside where he keeps his car.

If I put a 6 foot fence, can I do this? How high can I plant trees? I want to block him out of my land, so I can keep my bushes growing and he can’t stop chucking rubbish into mine.

Thanks

The way I understand it they only have a 'right to light' after the building has been up 20 yrs or more. The right to a view is a different thing to 'right to light'

Google it

No right to a view, there is a law from the 1600’s that states this! Plant a nice elms/carbon wood behind his garden

He would have a right to light but only for inhabited buildings not storage which a garage would be classed as.
Unless he is applying for change of use for habitation where the OP can representations

All of the above.

but I think he has the right to trim over hanging so long as he returns it to you.

i would go close board (or panel) 6ft tall and plant Lorrel, conifer or poplar the other side. Higher than 6ft needs planning I think
I ve told him by letter that I don’t want them back and he must dispose of them.
