Situation Vacant Farm Manager, Bedfordshire

An exciting opportunity to run the farming operation on a family estate consisting of 1000ha arable, 150ha grassland and 200ha HLS/conservation land.

The machinery roster is small but modern. Storage consists of a 3,200 tonne store with under-floor drying and capacity of 2,890 tonnes with Camgrain.

The Farm Manager, two full-time farm workers with two harvest casuals and a part-time farm accountant make up the team. A pedigree herd of British White cattle utilise the grazing.

Applicants should have a proven track record in farm management and experience in conservation agriculture. Experience with cattle useful but not essential.

The salary will depend on experience with the package including a house, pension, life cover, farm vehicle and holiday entitlement of 25 working days per annum, in addition the Bank Holidays.
