Just came across this https://farm-r.com is it a scam or someone with a clever idea, couldn’t actually find any real details on their website on who they are, hence my question on genuine or not?

If genuine could be a good idea??

That is a big price!! Says 1ha per hour on there website. So £250/Ha!!

It is always steep where the bracken is MIke, that is why they charge a bit.

Them bits of land are never going to be productive enough to cover the costs tho are they? Ive done plenty of daft bits with the weed wiper and the bits i cant do are now fenced off with trees

Hello all, sorry but I've just spotted this thread now. Im the founder of Farm-r and it is definitely a real business, trying to do good things! Our mission is to allow farmers to share machinery really easily so everyone can farm more efficiently; rent out what you aren't using, rent in what you need.

A while back I was working for Volac, visiting lots of farms every day and it struck me just how much machinery is sitting unused for much of the time on most farms and how inefficient this was. If our tool can allow every farm to improve their situation a little bit then that should have a very positive effect on the industry as a whole.

Thanks for your comments about there not being enough company info on the site, I've added a direct phone number to most pages so people know they can speak to an actual human being if they have any questions. Please keep the feedback coming as that is what will allow us to build a great product. It's early days for us but we're totally committed to changing ag for the better.
