Thats unreal amount of money to try & earn anything off.
Half that is plenty atm & when BPS is half in 4yrs time Farm Rents will have to tumble
Maybes so but not on us lads with AHA they cant... they can of course buy us out of our tenancy at a PRICEexcept landlords could put it into stewardship schemes
There is always stories of folks doing so, them types with 5000ac & want more n more yearly regardless of cost.ive heard that some folks are/have been paying such rents for average combinable bare crop land but never actually met one, does this mean I mix in the wrong circles and have wasted my time in farming for the last 1/2 century
We were outbid on a 600 acre farm in 2011, buoyed by the previous profitable years we tendered with a 2 on the front, we were outbid...There is always stories of folks doing so, them types with 5000ac & want more n more yearly regardless of cost.
