I was interested in the L200 but was put off by the myriad of warning lights on the dash to find out later that someone had pulled a fuse during the day.
I've been known to look under a machine and tut loudly while shaking my head to dissuade others a bit but this is obviously wrong.
What do you consider fair in these circumstances?
The auctioneer did say he wish he knew who had done it so he could ban them for life,,,,,,,......
This is also made me think about the MF 3095 I was interested in. I didn't buy it because I couldn't get the hydraulics to work [plus a few other things]. Could someone have done something simple to make this happen on the day?

Absolute c@nts trick sabotaging someone's farm sale....local farm sale round here someone put oil in the diesel tank of a John Deere so that it smoked like a chimney :poop:
Lot of sales where everything is locked up now all the time and they just start it and move it before hand. I know of one where somebody took something from the forklift and nobody could get loaded after

Some d**kh**d ran off with a chain we bought at one farm sale. We only paid £20 for it and the auctioneer sorted us right about it but it's just the principle of it that's irritating

Nowt new though. I went to a former employer of mine's dairy dispersal 25 years ago. At the start of the sale there were more staff than prospective buyers. It wasn't the easiest to find ( unless you'd worked there), and it turned out that some kind soul had been round and pinched all the "To the Sale" signs!

Another trick out of the assholes play book, standing near the item they are interested in and making up imaginary faults to deter potential buyers

I'd lay odds the buyer of said lot pulled the fuse?
