Farm sale.

Could well be. It depends how I get on in the mean time. Down to the last half a dozen things now. Slurry tanker, big square baler an a tractor being the most exciting. But I don't really want them all in the same tax year. So I dunno whether I'm much help really. I don't know how you found selling stuff so far but money still appears to be in short supply. Only saving grace really is how new has gone up so much it's dragged the second hand up a bit hence reducing the actual loss on the items.
An I wouldn't worry bought the bankruptcy sale talk. Lost count how many times that's "allegedly" happened to me. As I always think you can't be everyone's friend.

Apart from exporting the combine haven't sold anything. You can sell your tanker and buy a big mobile sheep yard, I happen to know where 1 is.......

Thank you for the offer but I already have one. I'm sure you've thought of this already. But dependant on your tax position what about trading some items in to update the few things you are going to keep. You may already have done this. However this doesn't really release much money. Out of curiosity what's the price tag on the sheep race?

We don't use it enough to warrant it being here. So don't want to trade anything in.if Somone pays stupid for the big box then I will replace with a slightly smaller one, as we don't do the big long hauls anymore.

Someone will pay silly money for that shiny box at a sale, I spent ages looking for one and eventually bought a very ugly one privately having given up on them at sales.

You'll still want a smaller trailer though, it's a PIA being reliant on hauliers.

Buyers commission. What a bloody scandal that is and for that reason......... I'm out. It's not much wonder so much is traded on farmers free ads.
100 IAE 12 ft gates without fixings made more than you could get the complete gate delivered from mole valley. Crazy fools.

Makes me laugh every time im at york some fool buying bent galvy gates for same price as new? some people leave their brains at the gate for sales.

My dad sold a load of stuff off at a sale when he went out of business with his brother, some stuff to be fair relatively cheap mostly hay making stuff as was in september, however other old crap like nackered spreaders and ancient junk made loads prob evened out overall.

like said prob put some high value stuff in with reserves and if sold just replace then you get best crowd and haggle commision fees

After a fair shift in farming practises, we've a large amount of gear that is not getting used, or getting used that little that it is point less.

Looking to have a farm sale as a way of shifting it all relatively hassle free.
Has anyone on here had a genuine farm sale and how did you get on?

Thought about advertising it all individually but is it worth the aground?

I tried to advertise a combine and a sheep race on here, and both got deleted, so wasn't that success full. Probably my fault for doing it wrong, but even here would involve a lot of wasted time.
