Weather it be CCTV cameras or laser beam type security or door sensors, when the device is triggered are they all based on an audio based alert? I happen to be totally deaf. The system of radio transmitters we have send a signal to the farm house when activated but that’s just a flashing light and audio alarm on the control box. Not very useful to me!! What’s available and more suitable? Not sure what would alert me in the middle of the night never mind during the day but I remain hopeful.

You might just be better off not knowing anything and straying in bed until morning rather than being woken and getting set up by a handful of pi ies who don't give a sh t when you go to investigate...

I’m well aware of the health hazards of confronting folk but am just wanting to be alerted somehow? I don’t want the fact I am deaf to be taken advantage of?

Could possibly use the signal that feeds the audio and light to a wireless portable pager that vibrates and flashes a light or a designated bedside lamp that is triggered when the panel activates,

An ex's sister was partially deaf and had a doorbell that had a flashing light that plugged in and an alarm clock had a unit that went under your pillow and vibrated.

How do door sensors work in relation to a master blaster? How do you disable the system to gain access to buildings yourself? If I could get something setup to alert me that the system has been triggered it might work for me?

You generally have 20 or 30 seconds to disarm the alarm before it goes off

Not long? And how is it disarmed? A switch?

When you use the key pad to switch the alarm of it switches the system of and what ever you connect to it

better to be self trained atleast a little and carry a easy carry knife or a dagger if possible... just a recommendation

With some of the violence surrounding the current generation of thieves you are better of to just have a good cctv setup that can record the thieves and then get your nfu involved. With the countries porous borders they will be long gone,so just ensure you are well insured.
