Maybe looking for one for dad, he is getting a bit bad on his feet and thinking an electric one for getting round the farm yard and the odd grass field by the farm would be handy. Don't want it looking like a mobility shopping scooter too much and thinking £500 max spend. Larger wheels and 2nd hand?
Not sure if this is quite the right thread but what the hell.
Thoughts and experiences welcome.

This gave my old man a new lease of life when he wasn’t able to drive. It’s is now for sale, not sure it’s in your area, price range or what you’re after, pm me for more info if you want more details.

We got my dad one last year,it’s transformed his life. Its only a electric shopping one but he’s never been stuck yet nearly and has left some good tracks but he can go a long way on a charge

Grandad has got a normal shopping mobility scooter and he loves it, that gets him round the garden and the farmyard and occasionally down the road if he thinks no one is looking[emoji23] for more serious off roading he goes to the garage on his scooter and transfers to the ride on lawn mower

dad bought one few weeks back, its great as he's not too good walking now, we got the basket off the front as he didn't like it , bought some alloy ramps and he can walk it up the ramps and into back of a ml merc, plenty of second hands about and the kids love it !!!

Tramper. Will be more than £500 though but you won’t regret it. Had one for father in law. Was brilliant bit of kit. He used it for everything from driving round fields checking cows to main road journeys between the farms.

We've got a honda quad bike, not the same though. An electric golf buggy to wiz round on and jump on and off easily might be the way to go. Thought I'd start on £500 but realize it may be a bit more.
