I keep checking them for fuel but don't find them competitive - over 3ppl out this morning on red.

One of those things that needs more people to use it for it to be successful, but until it is competitive then more people won't use it, and suppliers won't want to price with it either because they would rather sell direct at full margin than lost margin and market share by selling through an agent. Chicken and egg scenario.

Knowing I'm saving money today wins for me over the possibility of saving more money tomorrow.

i bought 10,000 L via FarmDeals this morning - 54.9p - cheaper than any of the companies i rang

if you want better prices join the group as when it becomes the uks biggest we might just get away from this crazy “buy retail sell wholesale” attitude this industry has

strength here is in numbers - even if you are not ready to buy yet becoming a member gives us the scale and strength to engage with manufacturers to get the better prices that you will want to buy at in the future ……. chicken and egg as you say !!!

We ate trying ! it’s free ! you have nothing to loose by supporting it …… you never know it might just work and those that supported it from the start will not be forgotten !!!

I did join but I don't think there is a single product available to NI. The big sheugh in the way must be the problem.

in time there will be I’m sure - but to achieve our aim we need the members first

We can guarantee that the first 5000 to join will never pay a fee so getting onboard now could be a prudent move

If we all repot the PM as an unsolicited sales pitch, will @Farmdeals get banned?😅

As Farmdeals is part of TFF and requested by TFF members, the best you can do is put it on ignore if you don't want to see anything from the user. Its not a moderator so members can do that if they wish.

But if you don't support it then nothing will ever change and we are trying to change things.

Is there a way of seeing what's available without having to join?

Not the full range no (if literally differs in every post code) - but there was a post summarising the offering here:

just join, it’s free, suppliers and products differ based on area especially fuel) so only way you can look see is when the system has your postcodes for deliveries

its early days yet, i find it pretty good on fuel already though in my area

Quite a lot of livestock stuff on there / feeds etc

truthfully ag chems need work to get prices the absolute best and they only way we eill achieve that is by growing our numbers - thats said there has been a few really sharp deals on things like glyphosate, teb and AZ etc already. “Tricky” market chemicals with a handful of big establishmed players not keen to let new boys in who may just end up cutting their rather healthy margins!!

its already bigger than a lot of long established buying groups that charge membership fees and is growing VERY fast now

There is no glyphosate pallet deal at the moment. Frontier are still selling at about £67 per 20l for a pallet. that's the best price I have heard recently. New stock coming in September.

Think its £85 for one delivered on Farm Marketplace. You don't want to buy much at that price though.
Is Gallup XL stronger than the none branded

I've sent my details in but I don't buy much. Good job it's free (y)
Had to laugh at the articulated lorry access question. Well yes you can get an artic in here and turn round easy enough there have been plenty here but it does depend a lot on the driver of said lorry :censored::rolleyes:

That is why its free - so you can dip in and out as the good deals come along.

The articulated question is due to certain deals being based on your ability to take a big vehicle. A bit of forward planning.

Unbiased view here.

I am finding that farm deals is ever so slightly cheaper than yagro for fuel.

I don't bother phoning direct to suppliers as I value my time and like the concept of both yagro and famrdeals.

If more of us use them they will get better.

I will continue to try both each time I order and the best price gets the deal.

I am a low volume user of fuel, those that do larger volumes may find better prices.
