the other night I parked the wifes car out the way and reversed the ifor flat trailer into its spot.
i felt a bump, having clunked the stock trailer in the dark.
i pulleds forward, and the stock trailer passed me going downhill, and hit the wifes car

I have just seen some of the figures for areas of land that have been burnt not far from Sydney due to forest fires. What type of vegetation is it mainly in those huge areas that have been burnt out . Hard to come to terms with such huge areas being affected by fire, are those areas mainly livestock ranches with very low stocking rates per ha ???
Very sad to see a volunteer firefighter has been arrested for arson what a sad case, wherever the guy was starting fires.

They dont get paid. That's the whole point of it being "volunteer ".

There was a guy (we were spun this yarn by our driving instructor, Paddle) who did his driving course and then realised it'd be a whole year til his certificate (you need 12 drives or 12 months probation to complete the course) because of the lack of activity in their fire area.

So, after brigade meeting, he whipped over to the sawmill and touched off a pile of sawdust (in his undress uniform, caught on CCTV) so he'd get a drive ticked off

Let's just say he's not a driver in the fire service anymore

Here’s an interesting one I found on my phone. The 1951 cu ft on the lid is saying how large the hopper is (I’ve always assumed anyway.) I was fitting 38-40 tonnes in it.
