This should be today's biggest news story as it's impacts will dwarf Coronavirus in time.

It would be interesting to see a thorough assessment of the rates of deaths over that timescale from different causes. Car accidents kill millions each year these days!

I wonder just how many humans pre-modern "civilisation" did actually due at the hands of animals. I suspect they were pretty good at avoiding them except when hunting.

I’m sure. Adaptation for survival then. They probably didn’t get the opportunity to not avoid them more than once.

And amazingly, using a truck, designed for road transport, to actually transport product on the road . . .
Amazing

I actually did a price comparison of fuel prices, between UK “red” diesel & our pump prices, minus our “off road” rebate - it turns out you pay less for your “farm” diesel than we do
So much for our “cheaper” fuel.
On top if that, we can’t claim the rebate for any road transport ( ie tractors carting grain on public roads on “red”) that carts our produce on the road, over substantially longer distances

so much for our “unfair” advantages:eek::whistle::ROFLMAO:

I was talking to a friend in the US and if they use they their trucks for ag they are exempt from all the tests and checks so they work out cheaper than our tractors and trailers do
