And I'm not sure which side would "win"
The technology is no longer heavily in favor of the USA and the troop numbers clearly aren't!

The only bit of that they "won" single handed was by dropping 2 A bombs and that was against a much smaller country. No country "won" WW2 single handed despite what Hollywood thinks, least of all us in the UK. Without US financial and equipment support we would have folded in late 1941. Securing the continued support of the USA at a critical time was probably Winston Churchill's greatest achievement. When was the last time the US actually WON a war, since WW2 ?
I can’t think of many clear, decisive wins, considering they’ve been basically at war with someone ever since . . .

There's always Iraq........Well, I didn’t suggest that the US won single handed, but they were on the “winning” side, with a very clear, negotiated & agreed to end of hostilities.
what does it mean to win a war ?
dunno, but I do think the Allies position in 1945 / 6 was much clearer than any of the disasters since then . . .

most of what they have done since is meddlingI never said
They haven’t been on many winning sides since then though
I read this yesterday. Sobering reminder of what could happen. Is this Aus getting it's own back?
The floods in China are a global disaster
You may not know it if you watch CNN or Fox News, but China is experiencing its worst flooding in over 100 years, and certainly the worst flooding it has experienced in the modern era since the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. Background The Three Gorges Dam is the world's largest...www.glennbeck.com
The dam is over 163m now and rising by around 1.5 m a day. I think the wall is something like 180 mNo food "shortage" if the CCP drown all their people.
