Farmer Roy's Random Thoughts - I never said it was easy.

With all the rain they probably won’t be needing that header for a while anyway.

My brothers farm in Devon. One was telling me how good the weather was a week or so ago on the phone. l expect that jinxed it. Cornwall's a great country, l've crossed the border many times on holiday. Big fan of Poldark too well Dimelsa really.

54mm here. New Lucerne is loving it. Dryland bit in foreground . Normal year there would be virtually nothing there where pivot doesn't reach.

Only have to go 50kms and west of Strathmerton they didn't get a drop. Was over at Barham yesterday. Dust, flies, people irrigating.....Come home to mud, full drains and hay in desperate need of cutting....More predicted next Thursday.

Oh well, apart from being down a million bucks or so, we are good.
Gotta love a good flood, they are landmark events through my whole life & earliest memories

That’s no good sorry to hear.
We had between 55 and 70 mm
I found a few shot grains in some dryland wheat, so we will get some downgraded.
I just heard someone near here is actually harvesting Canola today only two days after the rain so we will try tomorrow.
