Err, don't think you'll get many lambs out of that "ewe lamb" mate.:)
You may be surprised - even with lack of ballbags, I presume he got most of the other dorper crosses in lamb: sure gave it a damn good shot :cautious::cautious:

He will be in my freezer when he gets a bit bigger, but has been left to pass on his genetics without being a really rammy ram when he hits the BBQ :hungry:

Sarah knows how to ring a ram lamb properly now though :censored:
My excuse is that I am not Welsh so didn't look. :D
It took them a while, eh? :D

Looking forward to a nice cold beer at the end of a long day’s shearing is something that is good for moral...believe me.

However, starting shearing the next morning with a hangover is the exact opposite.:dead:

I’ve learnt to enjoy that one ot two beers but not to overdo it,maybe that comes with age.
I finished shearing yesterday. ....just as I was getting the hang of it again [emoji38]

Easier job on the tractor now, "resetting " couple of fields on the rotational grazing trial to keep the grass quality

Ooh,wool undercrackers.....a bit scratchy.

Fine wool makes great under garments / base layers
Fine merino wool is remarkably soft & comfortable against the skin

The Australian Institute of Sport & Australian Wool International have developed woollen fabrics for high performance sports wear

Nothing better against the skin - soft, moisture wicking, anti bacterial

I wear woollen base layers when doing multi day bike trips

Aldi even do a Range of woollen thermals, base layers, tops etc that are remarkably good & inexpensive

Wool & cotton are the only fabrics I wear

Yes,to be fair I have a merino base layer for cycling.

It’s very good.

What's it taste like? (Serious question
Still the same - like sweet and sour salad :hungry::hungry: cracking stuff for older pasture.
Interesting they issue woollen pants. Presumably for their reaction to fire?

Wool is recommended as aircrew clothing for the same reason.
Not too sure - I expect they are similar issue to police and other agency kit, they do get a little scratchy but I assume that is intended, to keep us awake while we listen to lectures ;)

Bit of a challenge last night(y) how to get 59 bales on to a B double with a 22ft deck A trailero_O. Owner reckoned 56:rolleyes: got em all on(y) 42 on the drop deck as opposed to 41 in a normal load and 17 on the A trailer as opposed to 15:) no photos as it was well and truly dark thankfully it was light enough when loading the drop deck as my strategy required dropping the ramps and loading 4 bales on there side sideways by driving up the trailer. Then got him to unhitch the prime mover and loaded 7 on there sides sideways again by pushing them back as I went. So been thinking ever since about making a bale grapple that will allow me to pick up 4 at a time.
Just gotta finish the shed first:rolleyes: Have had 2 change of plans since last week:whistle::rolleyes: . So that's 4 alterations since I originally started planning it 6 weeks ago:banghead:. And besides being an absolutely freezing mongrel ass day today. The wind was hideous and in just the right position to make sheeting part of the back wall a monumental challenge:(

Spose I could have done s good deal of damage if I dropped a wheel off the trailer whilst loading it though:whistle:.

Here's a painful one for you....mate was working with his boss on their laser bucket.(big heavy bit of gear) and they didn't have a safety chain holding it up.....ended up on his foot:banghead::inpain:broken ankle and smashed foot. They can't operate on his foot to replace the bones until the swelling goes down. And yes I did say replace.. as the bone on the top of his foot is totalled:inpain:
