Farmer Roy's Random Thoughts - I never said it was easy.

I have my doubts..:ROFLMAO:
Poor old National party is copping flak from Young Labour on environmental issues, social welfare issues etc etc.
(Labour are traditionally the "Handout Party")
so I can see why he'll be along to make his presence felt.

Unfortunately, although Jacinda is an excellent speaker, I don't know if she knows how little she actually knows?
Seems to pluck suitable stats out of the air and create a meal- typical politician- but apparently all our rivers are degraded etc.
Time to stand up for our industry before it's too late.
Everyone wants to blame the farmer- going by social media at least, so time to fight fire with fire (y)
From what I see up here, you'd almost think by the media and Labour that agriculture is going to get done over should they get into power with water quality,( the "Greens" won't get 5% because of the "Turei" debarcle), the problem is agriculture will demand that any policy will be based on fact ( Show us the numbers and the data to back up said claims!!!! ), not numbers from thin air......they will also implement a "Divide and rule policy", now how do you do that when a number of primary industries are already cooperating on these issues?:D
What's Andrew Little's new job?

This turned up in our yard today...

I keep getting told off for calling it a "truck". Of course, a truck is a lorry and a lorry prompts looks of confusion. A pickup is an Americanism and therefore provokes a sneer of derision. But I find the word "ute" difficult to get into the habit of using, but I'm getting there. Along with "paddock" instead of field. A paddock is where one keep ones pony in Surrey as far as I'm concerned, but I'm getting there... honest!

And, yes, that trailer really was towed behind it :D
The NZ new Ram's come from Australia, they get LHD's from the US , disassemble as required and remanufacture them to RHD ,so meet all the required ADR's, they are not a 'RHD conversion".:D
That trailer looks no heavier than the feedout wagon I tow behind the L200;)

This one was the next model up, 3500. It was a special order from the US apparently. Waited 9 months for it and it cost $150k! More money than sense!!!!

But it is like driving your front room around it's that spacious and comfy. The yanks know how to live I'll give 'em that!

so, do you have a specific use for it, towing a big horse float maybe ? which is what most seem to do, or you just bought it because you wanted to ?
