I accept that a car thermometer isn’t the most accurate way to record temperature but the nearest BOM weather station to my current location is up in the Barossa, a good 30km away and a different climate to the river flats, so this is the best I can do...

Apparently there’s a pub in Elizabeth which is offering FREE beer if it breaks the Adelaide record of 46.1. Which is dumb because no one works in Elizabeth and most of them are on the dole! He’ll go broke!

The energy hitting the surface is immense.

It’s just coming light here and we have a couple of inches of wet snow which is thawing and dank murky cold conditions,not a dry cold,that damp cold.(n)

Just lit the log burner and having a cup of tea.:joyful:
