13x$30= $390/day

how many acres an hour?
When did the balers start getting put on them?
What sort of plastic are they wrapping round it?
So can you take a nap and let the offsider drive?
13 x $40 = $520 + GST at 10%
( I am putting it through my company books, working as a "contractor", supplying labour, vehicle & tools. I will have to declare the GST - like your VAT - but I won't have to pay tax as my Company will have big tax loses this year anyway as no other income )

Round modules been out for around 10 years or so ?

Depends on crop / ground conditions, but with this extended front in dryland crops, say 10 km / hr x 12m wide = 12 ha / hr at $200 / ha

Special plastic only available from JD
with an individual unique bar code for every module, to keep track of them when ginning

Any more jobs going?
Why not just a bar code for the farm?
Claas have just brought out a baler that wraps in plastic , just like your cotton bales.but smaller. It could be a game changer.
They look like six foot by six?

By having individual barcodes, you can then use that to gauge yield & quality variations between different fields & within fields

This is from the weather station at Nugget Point
According to NZ Herald some places in Otago could see 2-500mm
..we will be somewhere closer to the 2.
Probably 20 25mm over the coming week, but better than nowt.
Quite variable / patchy weather when it does this, they make 19mm and I made it 12mm

However the rivers will come up pretty fast as a heap of rain is forecast for the headwaters of the major rivers

Haha - I'm showing my habit of working with irrigated cotton years ago.
Fields
Blocks
Paddocks

A variety of terms are used

But cotton is one of the few crops we do actually call fields - maybe it's the US influence from our early cotton days
A grazier i worked for in victoria tore a strip off me for referring to his paddocks as "pommie fecking fields" !
