They use steering guidance, but it runs off mechanical sensors that follow the plant row - really need it to keep the rows feeding into the heads correctly. A little bit off & you leave a lot of cotton behind

We are not far from Dalby Qld - contour banks & wash outs etc. Where Jack got bogged last night was dry on top, but at planting time there was water lying in a hollow so they didn't plant it. So, that area had a full moisture profile & was nice & soft & he was also carrying a module on the back at the time . . .
