To be fair, those old headers ( combines ) & basket picker would have been virtually worthless anyway, apart from scrap / wreckers value. There is no market for old / small capacity harvesting gear . . .
Surely the running gear would be handy for irrigation pumps ? But hey, I've seen them do the same stupid s**t in the states :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

@Kiwi Pete

This was the scene about 4 miles from us a few months back.Quite a bad accident with air ambulances pulled in from a wide area.

Think the coastguard have completely revised their coverage and helicopters now with new ones covering larger areas.
You also have Juno's from the Defence Helicopter Flying School up your way which are very similar to those Air Ambulances and would look like Police with their colours.

Coast Guard have all moved over to Agusta AW189's and Sikorski S92's operated by Bristow I think.

No more Sea Kings, alas. A regular sight for us out of Culdrose, but all Merlin's now.

You can always tell a Merlin, they sound like a complete bag of spanners!

The seakings had an odd elegance to them, with their ace of Clubs as they flew over.

Bunkers aren’t common here. Too much chance for spoilage. They’d only be used in years of high yield and low bin space. But why invest in something only used every few years. Piles work just the same with barely any construction and the availability and advancement of grain bags are making them more popular.
