A mild and moist south westerly airflow covers the UK today, A weak ridge of high pressure tries to build throughout this bringing a dry day with sunny spells for central, southern and eastern parts of England with. Showery at first for western Scotland and north-west England, although the showers will fade throughout the morning. A breezy day with the strongest winds in the west wind may reach gale force. Temperature highs of 14C/57F



Wednesday 14-11

With low pressure centred to the northwest of Scotland, mild south to south westerly winds across the British Isles. Rain is likely to persist for Scotland though this should ease as the day progresses. Some prolonged heavy falls are possible for the western highlands. Eastern Scotland may also see some light rain in the morning. A cloudy day with some patchy drizzly rain for west Wales and southwest England. Mainly dry elsewhere with some sunny spells developing later. Mild, with high temperatures reaching 15C/59F
