Now the heatwave really sets in and starts to spread North East. At the same time thunderstorms are likely to break out across parts of Scotland and Northern England with more general rain across western Scotland and Northern Ireland. High of 30C / 86F

Rather cloudy day with heavy showers or severe thunderstorms the showers will be slow moving and more likely over eastern England with the possibility of local flooding and hail in places further showers are likely in the west too, and here it will feel somewhat fresher with temps at 22C/73F while the east will again will be hot at 37C/98F

Another very warm day in store for southern and SE England but showers may become more widespread and prolonged with the risk of a few thunderstorms even in the parched south and east. High of 33C/91F
