Got two letters in the communication log on Thursday and two payments paid into bank yesterday. Very pleased to get them but not sure what they are for.

Biggest one says Scottish Gov Emergency against it on bank statement with another for just over half that amount which I think is the 2016 balance and entitled Scot Gov IACS.

Not had any Scottish Beef Calf money yet unless one of those is it.
Just hope at the end of these loans and various other payments people are getting in dribs & drabs that someone who understands how the computer works is keeping track of it all;)

Wouldn't surprise me if we all get hit with requests for return of overpayment a couple of years down the line.

Well, you'll not be troubled with such afflictions as Single Farm Payments much longer, now that the Little Englanders are leading us out of the wilderness of the single market and into....

Got two payments in on the 30th.
Think it's the balance of the SFP and the Scottish Beef Calf Scheme money. I had communication log letters for about 10 days before the money.
The SFP one is complicated as hell with greening, basic payments, financial discipline, and previous loans on it.
And this they send an email to tell you you have a communication and you have to log in to discover what it is. Could they not just send the bloody letter by email?? Be better than all this getting your hopes up logging in rubbish!
Still leave a copy on the log thing. Suppose that would be too simple.

Probably because email isn't secure enough for anything important. By getting you to log in, they will have an encrypted connection and your data won't be shared with the world.

Anyone not got their payments yet? We had a cross compliance inspection last year. All ok. Has been checked over and says anticipated on our web page. But we're still waiting on calf payment and it says ready! Have been hearing a few guys up our way been payed twice, but told not to spend it as Seerad is coming back for it.

We were paid in full the weekend before the deadline, I think.

Small amounts arrived in the account over successive days, and then it stopped, and then I thought "oh, so this is what 'the powers that be' have secretly decided we're being paid this year.

Then I got a phone call from a very nice lady asking for it back. I would have been nicer to her, but I thought she was phoning to arrange another 'random' inspection. She seemed very surprised that I hadn't noticed we'd received a payment twice, and asked if I could return it. I agreed, as £610 isn't quite enough to justify a moonlight flit to South America.
