Used to follow a fair few but things change etc and i really only bother to watch andy - its a farming life, similar role and set up to what i do but he puts the effort in and the videos are great. Nicks farm, great chap and has a real passion along with his dad. Cowfarmer dan. Takes his time to explain what he is doing and shows you dont have to have new and big kit to do the job. And recently ollyblogs. Again has a passion and wants things done right. Used to like george at jwb but i feel the sparks gone now. Ollys farm. . Cant even watch. Part time hobby farmer. And tom p has loads of energy but cant get in to his videos if im honest.

Currently I'm following:

Millennial Farmer: he's on the verge of becoming too "sponsored" but seems to be keeping the right side of it. I like his honesty and seeing the newer stuff at work. His podcasts are generally good too.

Welker Farms: Watch most of them but don't always get to the end if the video isn't really about anything. My brother went and met them when we were out there as his crew was harvesting next door to them Just sent them a message on instagram and they said yeah come for a look. Genuinely nice guys apparently. Meanwhile I was over in North Dakota sleeping on the combine floor between loads with a stinking head cold. No jealous at all!!

Brians Farming Videos: Seems fairly genuine, not too produced. Interesting to see a farm that is wall to wall JD

Larson Farms: Probably my favourite at the moment. They don't seem to take it too seriously but equally looks like they run a fairly slickk operation. Their huge, spotlessly clean workshop with immaculate equipment is quite satisfying to watch. He was on Millennial Farmers podcast a while ago and it was interesting hearing how he's slowly buying in to the operation. I think he's more mature than he sometimes seems on the videos.

Mike Mitchell: Different again to the corn and soybeans guys further south. I like how non-polished it is, no messing with sponsorships or even video editing, although I think most of his videos could be half the length they are!

How Farms Work: I think he's probably been around the longest, I don't watch all of his videos as they come out but sometimes he sounds a little bored? Maybe its just how he is.

Lord Muck: Good channel with the mechanical side of things. Doesn't do it so much now but used to get bored of him going on about how people would moan in the comments. He does a great job so who cares what some keyboard warrior thinks. I do like the bits of video he cuts in, like the Greta "how dare you" bit and the "its got no gaaaaas in it", always makes me laugh

Anyways they're the ones I watch. Haven't really got into any UK based farming ones but I like to hear about other countries, particularly the USA. Any suggestions for non-UK/USA channels? Maybe I'll have to start learning another language first!

For all the grief Olli gets. I actually like him. Yes its a little cringe for professional farmers. But fair play to him he is giving it ago. He must be doing something correct as 88,000 people follow him!!

He’s getting dogs abuse here and BFF , I fell sorry for him , I hope he dosent let the abuse get him down, a lot of it jealousy imo.

Nothing to do with jealousy.

He presents as a typical teenager of this era. They generally have never had the experience of losing or working to achieve. Unfortunately the degree of 'fame' achieved through Youtube will only inflate that sense of self-importance.

At the same time he IS successful and criticism shouldn't degenerate into abuse.

I noticed on Facebook a few were getting stuck into him saying all daddy’s money etc etc , I think that’s jealousy imo . The lad is what he is as we all are .

Yeah I know :banghead: not always easy to remember... I have tried editing some to change the orientation....but I dont do it enough to remember what and how I did it the next time I need to.
Me being 5 years old, I did enjoy a few of your video's where you only swear  .
Could be something nice in the making, I personally like a lot of explaining, what is normal to you might not be normal for me.

I'm taking a leaf out of my favorite you tubers book. One lonley farmer. That's how I am. I'm not trying to be something I'm not. Certainly not child friendly.....When I have a bit of time I am going to do one on a bit of history of flood irrigation on the farm. Been a lot of changes since I took over the role of irrigating at 17. And your right, what is mundane to me is something you probably have no idea about.

Another one I enjoy is bales hay farm and ranch. (Like one lonley farmer) I enjoy watching people making hay. It's what I'm passionate about. Bales hay is interesting to me as he has flood irrigation as well. I find it astounding how antiquated there system is compared to what we have here in Australia.

How is it antiquated?
I watched one where he showed how they irrigate from there "ditch" . Which he said they shared with other farmers. It was literally 3 feet wide and to regulate the water they used sheets of plastic and a bit of steel to hold the water back. If you watched the same one you will see the massive difference between that and here when I chuck one up. Our supply channels are capable of 100 times greater capacity than what he showed. Also we dont have to wait for next door to irrigate before we get our turn. Ours were all designed to supply everyone at the same time....this dates back to the 1940s when the scheme was set up. Also our delivery points are now state of the art electronic that are remotely operated by the irrigation company. My internal channels are capable of handling far greater flows than what they were using and how I get the water on to my paddocks is also way ahead of them.
Considering its AMERICA and they are FAR SUPERIOR to everyone else, I was quite amazed to see that they literally were 5 decades behind here.

I notice a lot of American farming is very old fashioned , nothing wrong with that but it is noticeable most of America i think is old fashioned, and dare I say it a lot looks run down .

What parts to do with jealousy? The problem is that he paints farming in a bad light, makes it look like an easy income for such little work involved. There was a video where he doesn’t leave the house until 9am, then left to go home while his dad was still working. He constantly talks about spending money and just jumps from one thing to the next, like talking about ordering a brand new pickup and next he’s buying a farm buggy, etc, talking about “ the grind don’t stop “ after filling one bloody trailer of muck then going to McDonalds.
I’ve got a lot of time for you tubers like Tom, Drew ( Drew’s farming life) FarmerPhil etc, guys that actually get their hands dirty and do their own work. Posting a video complaining about trying to find contracting work, while filming someone else doing contracting work on your farm is just bizarre. People clearly aren’t giving him work because they have doubts about his ability.

If you don’t like watching him don’t , end of story , no need to constantly get on to him online . Plenty obviously do like him so just leave it at that , how you feel if that was your son getting all this abuse on line ? How you feel after been nasty about him he took it serious and did him self in ? Just leave it be , he’s doing no harm what’s so ever .

If you post daily videos you obviously want attention so you need to take the criticism with the positive comments. No other Farming YouTuber gets the negative replies that Olly does, so there’s obviously a reason for that. He obviously doesn’t care what others say about him anyway or he wouldn’t keep putting out videos everyday with the same theme - doing very little actual work.
