Lad has a 4 year old 6155R that's only done 1400 hours, hes now wanting to put in a build slot for a brand new 155R, (there's a new 6R series being released?) because in his words, and I quote, " I need a front PTO and a new SPEAKER, so it's not worth spending that money on an OLD tractor and may aswel buy a replacement " this f**king idiot doesn't live in the real world. He moan about Adblu, yet claims his tractor has never had adblu issues, says how reliable it's been, but it's 4 year old and done alot of work, so it's time to upgrade.
Why he doesn't spend money on his farm, considering the sheds looks like they need upgraded, is beyond me. He's just blowing money on anything he can think of.
This is that Olly guy you all dislike is it?

Not a fan but (I'll get in trouble for this) half the farmers son's I've met would be very similar. I don't think he's unusual at all, although obviously there's a lot that aren't like him.
As for changing gear that doesn't do much, every 5 minutes, I guess you don't read the machinery section on here.

Holy sh!t. I’ll never get that 3:55 minutes of my life back.

That kid has never paid a bill with money he has had to earn. Carry on

So in the first 1:55 mins I got he is buying a new tractor because Bluetooth is too hard and I need all my apps on the tractor screen, you can't possibly lower the beacons or just not hit stuff with them and that a massaging seat is a must! Bangs on about reliability then is trading it in because it's out of warranty:ROFLMAO:

It’s made worse by the fact that he’s talked constantly about the growing financial struggles in farming, how over complicated the new tractors are becoming and basically talks down about the new technology in them. He goes to one farm show, sees a new 155R sitting and decides he’s buying one because he doesn’t think replacing a cab speaker and spending £3K fitting front pto to his is worth it, and would rather spend £30K+ replacing it.
That’s the perfect example of a spoilt little stroker.

Had to stop watching him. If l was his friend or neighbour I’d be having a word, fair enough he is making money from you tube, but if he would only get into the real world. He is probably quiet an intelligent lad.
He could do with watching a few others that don’t mind getting stuck in and getting their hands dirty.

Fuuck me could we please talk about the ones we DO like?
I don't care for millenial farmer, totally unwatchable to me but you don't hear me going un about it.

Ollyblogs is the man to watch. He has Merlos so he is clearly an ok dude. If he had a Valtra as well he would be an unstoppable youtube content creator.

I mostly watch his channel to indulge my main interest which is woodchippers and woodgrinders. In all seriousness though he does explain things very nicely rather than just show machinery to the masses.

Millennial farmer also goes to great lengths explains things very carefully for the non-farming people out there so he is using his channel as a platform to support farming in general and help educate people who have no relationship with farming. For this I think he deserves some credit even if you don't like his presenting style and the amount of product placement he includes.

The other channel I do like and have watched in the past is the Funkyfarmer who comes across as a genuine salt of the Earth type of guy. Not so much glam as the shiny machinery channels put across but just honest content. I wish him every success as he reminds me of so many of the local people I knew in my previous life.

The other channels all have a place for some niche viewers who are looking for non-dated arm rest consoles.
