Drew seems to run a nice farm very hilly ground by his yard though
The diamond of doom'Forget about the Renault'! That's my favourite too
Small world. His son in law and daughter used to be my next door neighbors here on the other side of the country. And I believe he's a retired farmer Doesn't actually farm anything of his own. Some good Aussie videos
Ben crosthwaite farms 14000ha (34,594 acres) or put it another way 54.68 square miles
Yes one I follow, very good if you like beef sheep and fencing!Watched a few from this chap the last few days. He doesn't have much of a following yet but there's some interesting stuff.
Kiwi Beef and Sheep so not much for the machinery fans.
He's in a pretty nice part of the country.Yes one I follow, very good if you like beef sheep and fencing!
One I saw larsons were 5 Laura farms 1stI watched a video the other night with the top ten earners in the world from farming utube channels.
Can't find the link right now but Tom Pemberton was about No 8 from memory and I think that Larson farms was the top one.
Fit ain't the word manI think Laura farms is basically her just posing for the camera .
Its alright, and she is a fit lass but it gets a bit irritating after a while
Those things are complete bull. I watched one on millennial farmer they included all his equipment in the estimations which they had completely under estimated then tried to say it only cost him $70 000 to grow all his corn! The real revenue has to do with merchandise sales. Plus YouTube revenue has a lot is to do with how many views you can get get as a % of your subscribers. I'm pretty sure these are not getting as much as they say plus these a lot of behind the senses stuff too like the commitment to editing and stuff. On social media you see Tom Pemberton up at strange hours editing vidoes, reckons it takes him 3hrs to edit one video. I listened to a podcast called 'Working Words' which is hosted by Brain Brown from 'Brain's Farming videos' on youtube he had 'Farm hand Mike' another YouTuber on there and they discussed the in's and out of the YouTube game it was an interesting listen.I can see why they do it.
One Lonely Farmer I think on his Ag Talk and Raw was having a good laugh, he was saying all the ones he had seen were either way overstating the amount or way underestimating. The most money he reckons comes from sponsorship advertisement as though he didn't say which but to appear at one show firms have to pay for advertising in one of the US ag mags whose fees are extortionate so the firms have cottoned on to the fact that it is cheaper to pay a couple of thousand to a Youtuber to showcase their products and reach more people than pay a heck of a lot more for a photo or article in a magazine. Those things are complete bull.
