Low pressure extends across the northwest on Friday while a smaller but more vigous area of low pressure tracks across Ireland. This will bring heavy rain and gales in to south western areas in the late afternoon reaching Wales by the evening. It will be a mostly dry morning, A band of rain will spread from west to east across England, Scotland and Wales but this should mostly clear to leave a dry and bright period with just a few isolated showers before the next band of heavy rain storm force winds moves into western areas through the evening. A mostly dry and bright day in the northeast of Scotland. Highs 15C/59F

A very wet and very windy night for much of SW England, Wales Some very heavy rain is expected It will be a very windy night across Ireland, Wales and the south of England with gusts of 70 mph possible through the North coasts of Cornwall Devon and along the Bristol Channel. The area of low pressure will track across the southern England on Saturday bringing heavy rain and high winds to England throughout the day. Gusts of 60 mph are possible along the English Channel coast. It will also bring heavy rain to Wales through the morning and across eastern parts of Scotland through the afternoon. It will be a showery day for Northern Ireland and western Scotland though there will be some good sunny spells High of 13C/55F

A ridge of high pressure builds over the UK on Sunday., western Scotland, Wales and western parts of England throughout the day. A brighter day in the east with some good sunny spells in the northeast. High 16C/61F
