Tuesday
After a very cold night the day starts with some sun but also snow showers or longer periods of snow these most likely to fall across most areas during the day, the heaviest falls will be in the east & north-east. some places here may see up to 30cm . The eastern Pennines and Borders are especially prone, also the North York Moors and perhaps further south into the Peak District and Midlands, just the odd snow flurries and some sun in the SW but Generally cloudy. Day time Highs of just -1 to 2C. 28/36F
Overnight
A bitterly cold night to come again, snow showers will continual along eastern and south eastern coasts, and as the wind shifts to the E Expect heavy snow showers into south Devon and Cornwall.
Lows of -7/19F but down to -11C/12F over the snowfields
So a very wintry spell over the next 4 days if you have livestock you would be advised to shed them especially Wednesday to Friday as we are expecting a blizzard with severe drifting more on this though the week at metjeffuk.com
