An area of rain will move into northern England, Wales, Midlands and southwest England in the morning. followed by drier and brighter weather later with sunny spells, the SE of England may keep the rain in to the evening, it will be turning colder. with showers wintry over the hills of Scotland. High of 12C/54F in England and Wales, more like 8C/46F in the brighter weather later. winds SW becoming fresh NW later.

A ridge of high pressure builds across the country on Monday. There will be plenty of sunshine after the morning frost. apart from wind and rain in western Scotland. Drier in England & Wales and eastern Scotland will see sunshine12C/54F Another frost overnight in most areas.

So with High pressure over or close the UK next it's going to be mostly dry week with plenty of sunshine, just a few showers likely on Tuesday/Wednesday but these will soon clear, look out for frosts at night.
