Tuesday 3-4-18

Snow looks like continuing to fall over much of central and northern Scotland this morning, with heavy over the Grampians and Highlands up to 20cm. While snow should start to turn to rain for the southern Uplands, followed by heavy bands of showers moving north through Ireland and into the west of Wales, somewhat drier elsewhere with some sunny spells developing later. Highs of just 3C/37F in northwest Scotland, but up to a high of 14C 57F in southern and eastern England.

The week ahead} unsettled at times, but also some drier periods too, cold at first in the north but everywhere seeing temps get back to where they should be at this time of year as the week goes by, into the teens.
