Christ, and I thought I was a sad bustard! How on earth did you see that, a hawk with a telescope would not have spotted that!

It probably was a tractor done up by one of those 'dodgy restoration' blokes that you sometimes see posting on here

That brochure with the 185 took me right back to my youf. It was a non Multi Power 185 that was my "first" tractor I had in my first proper job.

When you do your next one we're going to be looking out for the radio (with headphones)...... ......just sayin'

To be fair, I don't remember ever seeing a proper MF one - saw plenty that drivers had fitted themselves. Headphones were a 'must' though

No, the radio back in the day would have been a push button (top of the range), but never saw a Massey with one fitted.
See that lad harrowing in the brochure, has the back window rolled down, (for the dust) never saw that before either, another first.
And the roof open ........

The roof used to open on my 185, the catches had broken and the string used to chafe through. Usually happened trundling down the road in a head wind

I had the radio a bog standard Sharp, wedged in between the safety frame and the cab roof wrapped in foam [ I was posh with a rigid cab ] right in the middle at the back with the head fone jack in the middle as well so the cable stayed behind you as you turned . Radio 1 during the day and Luxembourg through the night.
