Farmflix

Can't be arsed with that Donkey clown, tho tbf he is perfect for the business he is in.
Only time I would watch is if it is something or someone I'm interested in, tho that's rare.

Don't think two Donkey types would work.

Have been subscribed to Farmflix for a couple of years now, good content & have met the main man, he's a sound lad.
Good variation on what they put out, it's the silage & slurry that sells, odd good silage video when they go in-depth on the outfit but I mostly prefer the other stuff.

Never ceases to amaze me how many people who may spend all day spreading slurry or carting silage want to go home and watch videos of the same thing!

The farmflix fella used to run grassmen with donkey, the videos used to be a lot better at the start. Wonder what happened?

Who knew there could be so much money in selling sh!t T-shirts to children
If you hunt around in some of Grassman's out take videos you can hear John Mc lane in the background. I don't know what happened but I think it might have something to do with the trasition from exclusive DVD content to less polished youtube content. Maily because John always makes it super clear that the good content is on the main site not there youtube(still amazing stuff).

I subscribed a couple of years ago. Was gone off grassmen donkey seemed to want to be a centre of attention even when doing an interview. Farmflix have short videos every week its easier watch. I often stick on a video when having dinner after work. I also like that its not all shiny big gear at silage

John was originally in the Grassmen team wasn't he?

Grassmen's more about the brand, the merch, YouTube content and whatever the deal is with all the manufacturers that get to promote their gear.
Farmflix is more about the content, I'd like to see them travel to more countries and see global Ag but it must cost a fortune to do.

No different than farmers going on a farming forum to talk about farming though;)

He was, I kinda gave up on it after the first few dvd's, I didn't know he had left but turned out he had left around the same time as I gave up.

The grassmen brand is everywhere, see plenty of kids going about with shirts & hats, good few tractors with stickers in the window, maybe some auld lad pushing 70 driving it....
How much is the subscription? Sounds good.
Think it's £60 now for new starts, was £52 which is a £ a week/video plus you have a vast back catalogue, £60 won't buy many DVD's.....

I know they have plans for NZ but they have been put back by covid but as you said it would cost a bomb.
