The sun shines (sometimes to often)
Land and wine are cheap (for a reason)
Not too many busy bodies telling you how to farm (plenty ex unban ex pats to do that)
Plenty of space (need to enjoy you own company)
Locals are generally chilled (as above)
Low stress lifestyle (a trip to the supermarket or Ag merchant is going to be the most stressful thing you do)
They actually want you to farm (to keep their bl00dy pensions paid)
